I just got a new computer with Windows 7 and LCDC Works with my Matrix Orbital VFD (Model VK204-24-USB) but I am having trouble getting data out of the WA3 plugin (I posted years ago about the same problem and I was told WA3 and WA5 are the same as far as plugins go)
I want to purchase the software but I want to make sure it is right for my use of the display
Also is LCDC Still being activity developed? and also my trial ran out is it possible to get another one before I purchase the software?

Nope I am not "Activly" developing LCDC anymore as there is no demand for it anymore. Although I'm happy to support and fix bugs as needed, in fact I recently upgraded to win 7 64bit myself and need to do some LCDC testing etc.
As for winamp the plugin system has always been compatible as far as I am aware, but with the new UAC etc. I'm not sure if this would work anymore.

Just to let you know the WA2 Plugin allows the Track/Time, And Playstate Data through to LCDC in Windows 7 with the newest version (5.572) if Winamp so I am currently configuring my screens and I plan to buy the software in June 2010
